What our guests say about visiting the Pisa Leaning Tower!

Read stories from our travelers!

A dream come true!

I’ve seen pictures of the Leaning Tower my whole life, but nothing compares to standing at the base and realizing how much it actually leans! I booked my ticket online and luckily avoided the long queue. The climb on the spiral stairs was lots of fun - a strange feeling - you actually feel the tilt as you are climbing up. Standing on the top was such a reward after 294 steps - the views were stunning! I even took the classic “holding up the tower” selfie afterward. I know it’s cheesy, but it’s a must!

Worth taking the tour of Pisa Leaning Tower

I wasn’t planning to climb the tower because I’m not great with heights, but my guide convinced me to try - and I’m so glad I did! Feeling the tilt under my feet was strange at first, almost like walking on a ship, but once I got used to it, it was incredible. Our guide shared stories about how the tower began to lean during construction and how experts later worked for years to stabilize it. I loved this experience! It's worth taking the tour if you want to understand the whole story behind the tower.

Great Pisa Tour from Rome

We visited Rome this summer and wanted to see more than just the city, so we booked this tour to Pisa. The trip was very well organized, and the drive didn’t feel long at all because the Tuscan scenery was gorgeous. I couldn’t get enough of the rolling hills and the little villages along the way. Pisa was the part I was most excited about, and it didn’t disappoint. Climbing the Leaning Tower was even more fun than I expected. The steps get steeper near the top, and you can actually feel the tilt, which made us laugh. The whole area was great for photos and a nice walk. We came back to Rome in the evening, tired in the best way. I would completely recommend this tour.
